Jimmy Hayley

Jimmy was born and raised in Texas.  Jimmy grew up around animals on a ranch in South Texas.  He has been working in the veterinary field since 2001 .  Jimmy enjoys working with animals because of the bond he forms with both the clients and their pets.

Jimmy has worked at CMAH since the June 2004.  He is a full-time veterinary technician, assisting the doctors daily in activities such as taking and developing radiographs, drawing blood, cleaning teeth, placing IV catheters and assisting in surgery.

Jimmy, his wife Cori and their son Henry share a home with their  pets: a golden retriever named Winnie, and four cats Otto, Morris, Frannie, & Lt. Dan. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys hunting, fishing, running, spending time with his family, and relaxing at home.

Frances Vaughan

Upon moving to McKinney from Sugar Land, Texas in June 2003, Frances began to pursue a career as a Veterinary Technician after raising three children, Justin, Jason and Jordan. She started out as a receptionist and has been attending classes to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. With a life long love for animals and always having pets as part of her family, the choice to become an RVT was inevitable.

Frances joined the Custer McDermott staff in April 2006 as a Veterinary Technician. Helping clients take care of their pets, which in many cases are like family members, is one of the aspects of her work she really enjoys.

Frances shares her home with 2 cats, Romeo, a domestic shorthair tabby, Simon, a flame point siamese , and 3 labrador retrievers, Hercules, Leila, and Polo. Outdoor activities are a big part of Frances’s life. She enjoys hiking with her dogs, swimming, fishing, and riding her Morgan horse, Skeeter.

Chasity Hendrik

Chasity currently lives in Aubrey, Texas where she was born and raised. She grew up with all kinds of animals and was constantly exposed to the veterinary field. She has a little boy who was born in 2009 named Corbin who constantly keeps her going. Chasity has an Associate degree of Science and her goal is to become an RN one day. She has been a veterinary technician for 10+ years and is constantly learning everyday. Chasity enjoys spending time with her son, country music, dancing and being a mom.

Melissa Delgado

Melissa was born in Salt Lake City, UT then moved to Nyssa, OR during her infant years, and raised in Nampa, ID. Melissa had a number of pets growing up including rabbits, ducks, dogs, cats, and turtles. She moved to Houston, TX in 2004 where she graduated from High School and spent most of her time volunteering at the Houston Humane Society or Horseback Riding. Melissa has been working as a Veterinary Technician since 2008. Animals will always have a special place in her heart whether its her pets or patients at the clinic. She now lives in McKinney, TX with her two dachshunds, Frankie and Panzer, and her two cats, Lily and Jasper. Melissa enjoys creating art, biking, camping, horseback riding, or just spending time with her family and friends.

Kate Timbes

Kate was raised in McKinney, Texas as the youngest of 6 kids. She grew up with all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and even a red-eared slider named Slo Mo. She began to work in a veterinary/kennel facility while in high school and immediately knew medicine and animals were going to be her life long passion. In 2005 she became a full time veterinary technician and continues to learn new things about her field everyday. Kate volunteers most of her spare time to Mazie’s Mission, a local animal rescue organization. She is the director of pr/marketing and aids in the medical aspect of taking care of the rescue animals. Kate is the proud mom of 3 rescue animals. A lab mix named Sadie, a border collie mix named Eve and her cat named Mr. Pixie.

Maegan Nimmo

Maegan was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and as an infant she moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In Atlanta where she grew up, she always had at least two dogs and a cat. She moved to Texas seven years ago, where she fell in love with horses. From then on she’s always had horses, dogs, and cats. In high school she showed lambs for the FFA. She was also involved in a vet tech program where she earned her certification to be a Certified Veterinary Assistant Level 1. She has always had a passion for animals no matter what kind. She currently lives with her 3 dogs and 1 cat; Einstein, Oreo, Princess, and Ms. Kitty and cares for her two horses Simon and Itsy.
